ABOUT AKCUPI
The ASIAN KENNEL CLUB UNION OF THE PHILIPPINES INC (AKCUPI) was established in 2008 by a group of long time dog enthusiasts.  They wanted a Club that was sensitive to the needs of dog owners, be it a big time breeder or a one dog owner, everybody is treated equally.   It is also a Club run by genuine dog lovers and whose purpose is to promote the breeding & proper care of purebred pedigreed dogs, foster camaraderie among ALL dog owners, support animal welfare and uphold FAIR & HONEST competition in dog shows.  The incorporators also stand by the principle that in order to promote further the dog sport, registering your purebred dogs should not be expensive and AKCUPI will set the standard for GOOD, EFFICIENT & FRIENDLY SERVICE.   The AKCUPI  has NO MEMBERSHIP FEES, NO PENALTIES, NO SURCHARGES and NO ADMISSION FEES just VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY.

After only 18 months since opening on March 31,2008, AKCUPI has already achieved a record registration of over 15,000 dogs.  Its shows are one of the most well organized and praised for both the quality of judges and, its  "walang lutuan" (no politics) image.  In this short span of time, AKCUPI has gained international recognition becoming a full fledged member of the Kennel Club Union of Asia (KCUA) www.kcua.org.tw and Federacion Canina Internacional (FCI) www.newsworldfci.com  We are very proud of the fact that some AKCUPI licensed judges have already been invited to judge abroad.  With the way things are going, there is no way to go but up for this new and promising young Club.
